I know that Wikipedia isn't a very accurate website, but I read that there will be a Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part l and Part ll. Do you think this is true? I thought there would be only two more movies. I don't want it to end, but I don't like the idea of watching Part l and then having to wait a long time to finish it and being left with a weird ending. So do you think this is true, and if it is then are you happy about it?
P.S. Please, only Harry Potter fans answer. If you're not then please don't. |

yes there are 2 parts ...sadly...
but good news i know what happens cuz i was a fan ever since the first book soo yeaa me! can't wait  im sure it won't be a wierd ending....im thinking it will be in a time when you don't want it to end but it was suitable to be able to make another part...but good news. part 1 comes out in 2010 and part 2 comes out in 2011 so not that long of a wait...both movies are in pre-production better then waiting 2 or 3 years like some.

Yes, there will be a Part I and Part II. There was too much in the book to fit into one movie.

I like watching the harry potter movies! and also reading the books. my fav is the half blood prince for the books, and my fav movie is the prince of az something, can't spell it.

YEAH THEY SHOULD MAKE IT ALL ONE MOVIE BUT IF THEY DO THEY WILL HAVE TO SKIP OVER A LOT OF IMPORTANT STUFF SO THEY HAVE TO MAKE TWO MOVIES. I DOUGHT YOU WANNA WATCH A 5 HOUR HARRY POTTER MOVIE.

The novel "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows" is too long to condense it in a 130 to 150 minutes movie. The options are:
* Do a butcher job and cut away many things from the novel out to make it fit the 130 to 150 minutes range that the previous movies have, or * Film a extremely long movie (4 hours?), or * Split the story into two 130+ minutes movies. Each option have its pro & con's, but I think the desicion was taken for the two movies, because more $$$ will be generated. Hollywood is a business, remember that. |

yes like every one else said the story is too long to be summed up in one movie so it's either gonna be a verrrrrrrrrrry long movie
or theres gonna be a sequel . but they'll probably know better than to annoy us with a wierd ending .. they'll just leave a trial that will connect the event's in the next one but in a good way I hope

Yes it's true Deathly Hallows will be released as two movies Pt1 will be out in theaters in 2010 and Pt2 in 2011.Yes I'm happy about it because less will be cut from the movie.
