I watched the movie a couple years ago and kind of forgot the ending, and I have to do an article about it buct can't find any place to rent it. Did they get sent in a space ship in the end?

It has been a long time since I've seen that sequel, but I believe that international group of children were destroyed by the British Army at the end of the movie (or at least I remember one or two of the children being killed when the church is attacked by the military, and I assume they all died). "Village of the Damned" ends with the first group of "Cuckoos" being killed, and it would follow that a sequel would have a very similiar ending. However, I guess one or two of the star-children could have been shown surviving but I personally doubt that idea.

There is scant information on the film at Internet Film Database or at Wikipedia, and neither site has a clear description of the ending (plenty of information on "Village of the Damned," but it was a good little film, and the sequel wasn't up to snuff. If you're lucky, Fright Film Fan might remember the ending (he could have even responded while I'm typing this); I don't believe I've seen "Children of the Damned" since I saw it in a theater in 1963, so my memory is hardly clear in regard to the ending.
